Chancellor's Certificate Program Overview

The following Chancellor's Certificate programs are available for open-registration when offered:

  • Certified Financial PlannerTM Educational Requirements Training (noncredit Chancellor's Certificate)
    Using the curriculum of the College for Financial Planning, this course covers all topics that the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards requires. If you have decided to differentiate yourself by becoming a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, spend 20 Saturdays with our knowledgeable instructors.

  • PHR/SPHR Certification Review
    (noncredit Chancellor's Certificate)
    A leader in HR education, SHRM has created the most complete certification preparation system available. Featuring printed materials, software, online tools, and a classroom curriculum, it helps learners consistently beat the national exam pass rates. While there is no single course of study that guarantees success on the HRCI exams, the SHRM Learning System® has effectively helped thousands of individuals prepare for certification.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP®) Educational Programs (noncredit Chancellor's Certificate)
    Combined with your skills, education, and experience†, these workshops help you prepare to pass the PMP exam. Take the introductory, advanced, and exam-preparation courses in sequence. Or just take the one or two you need to ramp up for the exam.

    The following customized certificate programs are available for in-house only--contracted to be delivered at your business or the J.C. Penney Conference Center for a specific number of employees.

    This program consists of three courses, each of which packs maximum value and delivers unique skill sets. You will earn a Dean's Certificate for completion of each of course and a Chancellor's Certificate when you complete all three.
