CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Textbooks and Study Guides Congratulations on your determination to become a CFP® practitioner! Welcome to the Certified Financial Planner™ Educational Requirements Training program. This will be 12 months of hard work, but by your meeting the requirements of the four Es, this education will enable you to sit for the CFP certification exam. These 12 months of study will be broken down into five modules. For each module, you will need: The University of Missouri–St. Louis uses CFP Board of Standards approved study material. It is expected that you will have obtained all your study materials before the beginning of each module. See the Ordering Textbooks and Study Guides module for information on when and how to obtain study materials from the College for Financial Planning. Ordering Textbooks and Study Guides To order textbooks and study guides from the College for Financial Planning, call 1-800-237-9990 and press 2 to activate Student Services ordering. Unless otherwise instructed, all study materials will be shipped UPS ground, with anticipated delivery time being 4–5 business days. The CFP Board of Standards has a list of allowable calculators that can be used when a student sits for the certification exam. The financial calculator that will be used for this course is the Hewlett-Packard HP-10BII. If you choose to use another calculator, you will be responsible for knowing how to replicate the functions as demonstrated in class.
