"Hi! My name is Lauren Hermann and I joined the UMSL community in June of 2016. I began working in the Financial Aid Office as a Student Support Specialist and it was there that I discovered my passion for helping students navigate processes and problem solve. Shortly after, I decided to further my education and in August of 2018, I graduated with my Master’s Degree in Higher Education from UMSL. The program connected me to so many wonderful people and encouraged me to support others who want to continue their education and advance their careers! I am now the new (and first ever!) Recruitment Coordinator for Graduate Programs in the College of Arts and Sciences. I enjoy working with students from various backgrounds and really appreciate our CAS team.
Outside of work, I love cooking new recipes, walking my dalmatians, and practicing yoga.
