Valerie Dratwick wears many hats for the Art & Design department. She is an adjunct professor of printmaking and 2D Design, the Senior Research Lab Technician for the printmaking and computer lab and serves as the senior gallery assistant for Gallery 210.
Valerie has earned many degrees in studio arts recently culminated in an MFA from Fontbonne University in 2024. She’s a proud graduate of UMSL’s own BFA program in 2005.
Valerie is a printmaker, but also works with other mediums from photography, oil painting and sumi ink. Her artwork has been in many galleries, art fairs, and publications. She also loves dogs (hers, yours and those belonging to random strangers).
