Certificate with Majors

A student graduating with BS in Data Science/CS Emphasis cannot request the Data Science certificate in the same or future semester as the degree. But the certificate can be completed before major graduation.

A student graduating with BS in Cybersecurity/CS Emphasis cannot request the Cybersecurity certificate in the same or future semester as the degree. But the certificate can be completed before major graduation.

A student graduating with any degree in the CS department cannot request the Programming certificate in the same or future semester as the degree. But the certificate can be completed before major graduation.But the certificate can be completed before major graduation.

Double Majors

Students cannot double major, regardless of whether graduating the same time or not, in two degrees in the CS department except as listed.

  • A student majority in Cybersecurity can major in one other degree if desired.

Minor

Students graduating with any degree cannot also have the CS minor.
