Raymond E. Novak, BS 1968. Ray holds a Ph.D. in physical chemistry from Case-Western Reserve University and was Professor in the Departments of Anesthesia and Pharmacology at Northwestern University when he was honored with the award. Since then he became Director of the Center for Molecular Toxicology at Wayne State University. He was Director of the Institute for Environmental Health Sciences, Director of the Environmental Health Science Center for Molecular & Cellular Toxicology and Professor in the Department of Pharmacology at Wayne State but recently accepted the position of Corporate Director of Research at Shriners Hospitals for Children International in Tampa, FL.
