Terry is a licensed professional counselor in private practice and the CFO, Executive Director Emeritus and Retired Head Coach of the Clayton Shaw Park Swimming Team. She earned a Bachelor of Arts with a major in history in 1977 and a master’s degree in education from UMSL in 1979. A lifelong competitive swimmer, Terry has long been interested in the psychology of winning and sharing that information with other competitive swimmers. She, too, has immersed herself in the support of UMSL, including her current service on the Chancellor's Council, the College of Arts and Sciences Leadership Council, the Nursing Lab Campaign and the Alumni Finance Committee. Along with her husband, Stan, Terry is often seen at UMSL athletic events, sporting their UMSL gear and cheering on UMSL students.
