Tim Kauer is a PhD student for the UMSL Criminology and Criminal Justice department. Before joining the UMSL program he received both his BS and MS degrees in Criminal Justice from Sacramento State University. His research interests include victimology, victimization prevention and mitigation, and the development of criminological prevention strategies focused around content creation/creators and social media.
