Tianyi is a PhD student in the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of Missouri - St. Louis. She holds a Master of Public Policy from Duke University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Case Western Reserve University. Her research interests include education, placed-based inequality, labor participation and earnings.
