Saundra was accepted into UMSL's Criminology and Criminal Justice PhD. program in 2012 after earning her M.A. in Sociology from the University of New Mexico in 2011. Her primary research interests focus on community and neighborhood effects related to coercive mobility, prisons, jails, and health outcomes.
