The two-semester program, led by UMSL DBA graduate and Leadership Coach Dr. Cindy Goodwin-Sak, and a deep group of mentors, is focused on helping UMSL students improve their professional communication and networking skills. Read more on UMSL Daily.

Why Should Students Join the Rise Academy?

Requirements:
  • 30-40 hours between October 2024 and May 2025.
  • Complete monthly activities and reflections to earn scholarships.
  • Share your experiences to help make the program better.

As a mentor of the RISE Academy, you will build meaningful connections with students, helping to guide them to be a successful leader for their careers and beyond. 

Commitments:
  • 20-30 hours between October 2024 and May 2025.
  • Lead monthly engagements and review student reflections.
  • Share your experiences and guidance.
  • Scholarship contributions and gift matches are greatly appreciated.
