The Information Systems and Technology department offers stackable graduate certificates.
These are focused and intense curricula of study geared toward particular knowledge, skills, and abilities within high-demand fields of study to foster reskilling/upskilling of the regional and national talent pool. Further, these certificates create flexible pathways for students to complete the full Master of Science in Information Systems and Technology (MSIST) by transferring all courses taken within Graduate Certificates into the MSIST. Certificates are a good way to build skills while at the same time suitable for prospective students who may not be ready to commit to a full degree but wish to leave the option open and work toward it.
In addition, the IST Department offers a Cybersecurity Graduate Certificate in cooperation with the Computer Science Department. The Cybersecurity Graduate certificate can count toward the Master of Science in Cybersecurity with Information Systems and Technology Emphasis, or the Master of Science in Information Systems and Technology, or the MBA with Information Systems and Technology Emphasis when appropriate courses are taken during the certificate program.
