What Is The Student Internship Program About?

As a Student Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience while working closely with our cohort of local St. Louis entrepreneurs who enroll in our Entrepreneurship Certificate program. This internship provides a unique chance to be immersed in the dynamic world of startups and entrepreneurship, supporting founders as they navigate the challenges of building their businesses.  You will gain practical experience in the world of entrepreneurship, work alongside passionate founders, and make a meaningful contribution to the success of startups.

If you are a motivated and enthusiastic student looking to build your skills in a fast-paced and innovative environment, this role is an excellent way to jumpstart your career in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. The businesses you will support need assistance with Digital Marketing, Website Development and Content Creation, Financial and Data Analysis, Coding and Software Development, Sales, and Manufacturing.  You will have a range of duties, but will focus on the area that best matches your skillset, your major, and your career objectives.

Intern students will be paid $3,000.00 each to learn by doing, as they develop a variety of skills and witness first-hand the inner workings of a startup. Intern Students can work up to 20 hours per week and is negotiable between the student and founder.

All UMSL students are eligible. The most competitive applicants will be able to demonstrate:
