Giving Societies

UMSL’s three giving societies honor donors through recognition and special events each year.

The Chancellors Circle

The Chancellor’s Circle honors individuals and organizations who have given generously to prepare the university—but more importantly, our students—for an equally bright and prosperous future. This group of extraordinary philanthropists allows UMSL to provide transformative education through their individual commitments of $100,000 or more in their lifetime.

The Goode Society

Named after Wayne Goode, often considered the father of UMSL, the Goode Society honors donors who help UMSL fulfill its mission to transform lives through annual support. Like Wayne Goode, this group of committed and generous donors is critical in helping UMSL provide a quality, accessible education to those who seek it. Membership begins with gifts of $1,000 per year. Learn more about the Goode Society.

The 1963 Society

The 1963 Society recognizes alumni and friends who have invested in the university’s future through their planned gifts. The society’s name honors the year of UMSL’s founding. Friends of the legacy society are invited to key events each year.
