Online in 9: eLearning Course Development
Take your online course to the next level by participating in a 9-week series designed to help you efficiently develop or redesign your course. By the end of the series, you will have a completely finished course site, confidence with new technologies and strategies for managing your time and students. This series is designed to fit into your schedule with a combination of face-to-face and online activities structured to keep your course development on track. Join your colleagues in an interdisciplinary small group to share ideas and learn new tools and strategies guided by research-based, national standards.
Registration for the Fall 2013 series (Sept 8-Nov 16) is now OPEN. Registration is open for future series dates in spring and summer 2014.
When you register, you will select a cohort group you wish to join. Most interactions will take place online through a variety of technology-enhanced activities and discussions, however some meetings will require your visit to campus. See below for those dates. NOTE: We have twelve spots available for each series. Anyone developing a course is welcome to register, although priority will be given to those faculty developing courses for the Online Bachelor of Liberal Studies (BLS) or Masters of Business Adminstration (MBA) degree program. We will confirm all registrations prior to the start of the program.
