YOUR DEGREE PROGRAM MAY REQUIRE YOU TO MEET WITH AN ADVISOR PRIOR TO REGISTERING FOR CLASSES.

All new undergraduate students are expected to attend/complete New Student Orientation. At orientation you will meet your faculty, learn about the many services the university has to offer, meet your classmates, take a tour, learn how to get involved on campus, and much much more. YOUR DEAN'S SIGNATURE IS REQUIRED FOR THE FOLLOWING COURSE OVERLOADS:
Undergraduate Fall/Spring Semesters, 19 or more credit hours. 
Graduate Fall/Spring Semesters, 13 or more credit hours.

SPECIAL CONSENT COURSE: If “Special Consent Required” is indicated in the Schedule of Courses, you may NOT register for the course without a Permission Number. You may obtain the permission number from the department offering the course.

Looking for a listing of classes being offered?  The Schedule of Courses is AVAILABLE WEB-BASED

How to register for classes: 

  1. Check to make sure your advising hold has been removed.
  2. If you still have an advising hold, reach out to your advising office (found above), and schedule an appointment.  Your advisor may help register you for classes.
  3. If your advisor doesn't register you, you can register online through MyView.  Use the How to Add Classes help document found in the Student Resources section here.
  4. You can also enroll in the Registration Office as long as all holds have been removed.  Check our contact page for office hours.
