University of Missouri–St. Louis Series invites a leader of notable achievement to speak on a timely topic.

ST. LOUIS – February 14, 2013 – Brian F. Lavin, president and CEO of NTS Development Company, will be the featured speaker for the Distinguished Speaker Series, March 11, 5:30 PM–7:15 PM at the Millennium Student Center at University of Missouri–St. Louis. The title of his talk is “Public Private Partnership’s Maximum Value for a University Foundation.” The purpose of the program is to invite a leader of notable achievement to speak on a timely topic.
Lavin has served as the president and chief executive officer of each of NTS Realty Capital and NTS Realty Partners, as well as director of NTS Realty Capital since their formation in 2004. Lavin also has served as president of NTS Corporation and NTS Development Company since June 1997 and of NTS Mortgage Income Fund since September 1997. As such, he is responsible for all NTS commercial real estate development and land acquisitions, and oversees the management of all office buildings, business centers, multi-family and single-family residential divisions. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from UMSL.
The UMSL Executive Leadership Consortium, a campus-wide leadership program, coordinates the speaker series. ELC prepares students and a cross-section of career professionals to become effective leaders to meet current and future demands in response to regional needs and beyond.
Karen Carroll, executive fellow at the Consortium and president of kcienterprise, will moderate the program. A reception will follow.
