Below is a list of scholarship opportunities available to students enrolled in the College of Nursing. You may apply for these and other campus scholarships via the Office of Financial Aid scholarship application page.
Featured Scholarship
The Sangdow Tuly Scholarship in Nursing is awarded annually to a full-time degree-seeking student majoring in Nursing at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, with consideration given to factors including recipient’s financial need, socioeconomic challenges overcome, diversity, and future potential in the nursing profession.
Nancy Sue Claypool Memorial Fund |
The yearly award, in one of the following four categories, will be distributed at the discretion of the Dean of the College of Nursing in consultation with the donor and the nursing faculty committee: Nancy Sue Claypool Memorial Research Grant: This award is given to a deserving career nurse and UM-St. Louis student whose research and/or thesis project is directly involved with prevention or intervention of chronic or terminal diseases/health conditions. |
Nancy Sue Claypool Memorial Graduate Internship Award: This award will be provided to help cover expenses for a deserving career nurse and UM-St. Louis student making the trip to the National Institute of Health in Washington, D.C., or other well-known agencies as part of his/her research in prevention or intervention of chronic or terminal diseases/health conditions. | |
Nancy Sue Claypool Memorial Nursing Lecture: A lecture can be held with guest speakers (nurses) relating to their experiences, research and work in the field of prevention or intervention of chronic or terminal diseases/health conditions. | |
Nancy Sue Claypool Memorial Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded on the basis of need to a deserving UM-St. Louis student and career nurse whose field of study involves prevention or intervention of chronic or terminal diseases/health conditions. | |

Jeanne O'Grady Memorial Fellowship | Students nominated for this award shall be registered and enrolled at the UMSL College of Nursing and pursuing a doctoral degree. Candidates for this award shall be in good academic standing and be involved in research in nursing science. |
