5000 SPRING 2014
Discussion Board Schedule (2/25 - 5/8)
Please post on the
appropriate MyGateway Discussion Board according to
the following schedule. “Posters” can continue the previous week’s discussions,
comment or ask questions about the new reading (so long as you try to suggest
answers those questions too), or draw connections to material we’ve read
earlier in the semester: all topics are open to you. I’ll post occasional
discussion questions from previous semesters, which you are welcome to use as
prompts. You should try to frame your observations in a way that will invite
further conversation. Length is negotiable, but your post should have similar
substance to your responses to the discussion questions at the beginning of the
semester.
“Responders” should
reply to at least two posts. “Resters” are of
course not prohibited from participating, should they wish to do so.
Remember that the usual
classroom guidelines about civility and collegiality apply online as well.
