Here's part of the image of a larger "wire" (>>20nm diameter) showing a set of ~2.7[A] fringes running perpendicular to the tube axis (perhaps consistent with the 5.4[A] c-axis spacing inferred from earlier diffraction work), and with a ~0.9+[A] periodicity orthogonal to that in the power spectrum (fringes parallel to the tube axis)....
