In today’s diverse, dynamic business and organizational environments, it is paramount that we understand what needs to be accomplished from multiple points of view, develop a cohesive working agreement, and execute the plan. Facilitators can be the catalyst for making these things happen. This course goes well beyond simply leading meetings--you will learn how to elicit uncommon results.

In this interactive, group-based course, you will gain the practical skills and knowledge needed to be an adept and effective facilitator. Project managers, business developers, trainers, consultant--anyone in a formal or informal leadership role--will benefit from learning techniques for facilitating the achievement of group goals.

Who should attend?

* Project managers, new product and business developers—people whose responsibilities include meeting schedules, budgets and outcomes through and with the help of others—when they do not control
* Trainers and change agents—people who are charged with getting adult learners to work together

Certificate Requirements
Complete the 14 hours of training and you will be awarded 1.4 Continuing Education Units and a noncredit Dean’s Certificate in Group Facilitation Skills from the University of Missouri–St. Louis.
