Human Resources provides managers with job evaluation, organizational review, and classification services.
There are a number of reasons why a position may need to be evaluated or classified. For instance, a department may need to create a new position because there is a lack of staff or the department has undergone some changes. Or, an employee's job title and corresponding position description no longer fits the duties that he or she is performing, in which case, a position audit may need to be conducted.
