M-288 : Frank Nuderscher Collection

HISTORY: The collection was the gift of James Godwin Scott, a long-time St. Louis artist and nationally known watercolorist who was Nuderscher's last student.

SCOPE: This collection consists of 25 academic figure drawings by the noted St. Louis artist Frank Nuderscher dating from ca. 1915 and six photographs of the artist.

HOLDINGS: 25 sheets of drawing paper size 20 x 24" and six 4" x 6" photographs.

ACCESS: This collection is processed and may be accessed by appointment with the Curator of Fine Art Collections, Julie Dunn-Morton, at 314-516-6740 or dunnmortonj@umsl.edu.
