Search for materials on reserve:
The Thomas Jefferson Library maintains course reserve collections to support instructional requirements. The reserve collections consist of library materials and books from instructors that faculty request be placed on reserve for students to use.
Patrons may only have two reserve materials checked out at any given time. The loan periods for reserve materials are:
- 1 day, 3 days, 1 week, or 2 hours - Materials under these loan periods can leave the library
- 2 hours, Library Use Only - Materials under this loan period cannot leave the library. The patron's ID card will be kept at the Circulation Desk during check out
Additional charges will be assessed for overdue materials. All reserve items are kept at the Circulation Desk. Please bring the Reserve Call Number for each item you need to the desk.

Please go to the Faculty Services page to access the forms for placing, removing or purchasing reserve items.
The library will make items available as soon as possible, however please allow 24 to 48 hours processing time for items to be placed on reserve.
