Event Descriptions
Water Balloon Toss (Registration Required):
Bring yourself and/or a partner and see just how far you can throw the water balloon without getting splashed! You and your partner will be competing against other partners to see who can throw the furthest without popping the balloon.
Chair Yoga (Registration Required):
This gentle form of yoga is practiced while sitting on a chair or standing using the chair for support. It’s a class for all levels and is often good for finding balance, increasing flexibility and strengthening personal body awareness. Flow through poses and breathwork to challenge your core and calm your mind.
POUND Fitness (Registration Required):
Join us for a FULL-BODY CARDIO JAM! Instead of listening to music, you become the music in this exhilarating full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and pilates-inspired movements. Designed for all fitness levels. Get ready to sweat!
Running Club:
Every Monday through Thursday at 4:30pm, a group of UMSL Runners gathers in the 3rd Floor Lobby of Lucas Hall to run for 30 minutes, returning to Lucas Hall around 5pm. Don't be late! (For a few minutes, we usually wait.)
Closest to the Pin:
Feeling lucky? Or is your short game just THAT good? Come try your hand at the closest to the pin. At the end of the event, the person who hits the ball closest to the pin will win a prize! All equipment is provided.
Pumpkin Painting:
Come! Embrace the fall by decorating your very own pumpkin with paint, stickers, and more! Limited supplies available.
Home Run Derby:
The person who hits the ball the furthest wins a prize! Then, the department who has the greatest combined distance wins a prize, too! All equipment is provided.
