If you are transferring to the Computer Science department from another institution or another discipline please note the following.
We have multiple undergraduate degrees. You do not have to decide right away which one to follow as they start with a set of common courses, and transitioning between the programs is possible later since core courses in one program can usually be used as electives in another.
The college advising deals with non-major transfers, and the departmental advising for new students handles courses specific to our majors.
Be advised that different schools start with different courses and different languages, and you may also have additional knowledge or experience. Thus each case may have to be reviewed separately. For example, you may have the concepts from our course in your course but the language may be missing or could be covered in another course you might have taken.
