Transfer Students
 

Students applying to the University of Missouri-St. Louis for full- or part-time attendance with 24 or more transferable, college-level credit hours will need a cumulative college GPA of 2.0 or higher to be considered for admission.

Students applying with less than 24 transferable, college-level credit hours, as well as incoming Freshman, will also need to meet the Freshman admission requirements.

Application Process

Application to the University of Missouri–St. Louis for full- or part-time attendance is a simple, three-step process:

Step 1: Fill out and submit an Application for Undergraduate Admissions. An application can be fully completed online, printed and mailed in, or completed in person at the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.

Step 2: Pay the $35 application fee. This can be done online at the time of application, or by check or money order submitted to our Office of Undergraduate Admissions by mail or in person.

Step 3: Request Official Transcripts from every college or university attended to be sent to our Office of Undergraduate Admissions. These must be sent directly from the sending institution through the mail. Hand-delivered or faxed transcripts will not be accepted.

Applicants with 24 or more transferable, college-level credit hours at the time of application need only submit transcripts from all schools where they have enrolled and attempted college-level credit. Students with less than 24 transferable, college-level credit hours at the time of application will also need to submit high school transcripts reflecting composite ACT scores.  The admission decision will be based on a combination of the Freshmen Admission Requirements and all college-level coursework attempted.

Note: Students planning on majoring in Education must also submit high school transcripts and ACT score, regardless of credit hour amount. Some schools may require a completed Transcript Request Form to release transcripts.

Once all of the necessary paperwork has been received it may take up to two weeks or longer for your application to be processed. However, you can track the status of your application online with your application number.
