Lindsay joined the Office of Admissions in January 2014. She currently represents the University in St. Charles County and Illinois. After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Education in 2008, Lindsay continued her education to achieve a Master of Arts degree in Higher Education Administration, Educational Leadership, and Counseling in 2012.
Lindsay developed her passion of guiding high school students to higher education when she coached women’s soccer at the collegiate level prior to joining the UMSL Admission’s Office. She enjoys talking to high school students and parents about educational opportunities beyond high school and the benefits of attending UMSL.
Lindsay grew up in St. Charles, MO and loves cheering on the Cardinals. When she’s not cheering on the St. Louis sports teams she is spending time with her family, playing sports, reading, and being crafty.
What is your favorite Triton sport? I love watching and reading about all the Triton sports but my favorites are softball and women’s soccer.
Where would you go if you could study abroad? I’d give anything to go back in time and take the opportunity to study abroad. My top choices would be Australia and England, but I’d be happy anywhere in Europe and would to travel to several countries on the weekends.What advice do you have for entering freshmen? Whether you are shy or outgoing, get involved on campus right away. You’ll enjoy your collegiate experience even more when you join a club or organization, attend events on campus, and meet new people. Get out of your comfort zone; it’s your time to grow intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually.
